Victorian Trees on Farms Program

Planning a tree planting project on your farm?

Radicle can help you design your project and apply for funding through the Victorian Trees on Farms Program.

What is it?

The VToF program provides grants of $2,000 (ex. GST) per hectare up to $40,000 for environmental plantings, and $4,000 (ex. GST) up to $80,000 for farm forestry plantings.

Plantings can be designed to create shelterbelts, improve biodiversity and soil health, protect waterways and address erosion, while farm forestry projects can also provide a future source of timber or on-farm income.

Radicle can help you determine whether your property is eligible, design the planting project and prepare the project plan required for your application.

Our Process

01 - Property & Eligibility

We start with your property, objectives and proposed planting area to determine whether the project is suitable for the program.

02 - Design the Project

We develop the planting layout, select suitable species and determine whether environmental planting, farm forestry or a combination is right for your property.

03 - Prepare Your Application

You’re part of the process. We keep communication open and decisions shared—no black boxes or surprises.

04 - Plant & Establish

Once approved, your project can move into establishment. Planting is completed in accordance with the approved plan, followed by the required reporting and grant milestones.
